CSI specializes in conservation and management of native species and habitats of the southeastern United States, primarily in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.

Our services include meeting a variety of information needs, expert opinion, GIS mapping, species and community planning, measuring and monitoring success, and conservation easement planning.

CSI is committed to ecologically sound resource management. Our objectives include:

• Promoting and conducting research on native habitats and species;
• Working to determine and implement appropriate management practices to perpetuate native habitats;
• Serving as a liaison between forest industry/private landowner groups and regulatory agencies/conservation groups;
• Fostering public awareness through educational services including field tours, seminars, printed materials, video programs, Internet and multimedia, and other means.
